Who We Are
“But this I confess to you, that according to the Way which they call a sect,
so I worship the God of my fathers, believing all things which are written in the Law and in the Prophets. (Acts 24:14)
Called Out of Babylon, Gathered to Israel
Finding The Ancient Path exists to serve men and women who find themselves at a difficult and often isolating crossroads of faith.
Many who come to us are leaving, or have been forced out of, Christian churches because of newly formed convictions regarding obedience to the Torah and the Hebrew Scriptures. These individuals have not abandoned God. Rather, they have chosen to take His word seriously in ways that are often misunderstood by those around them. As a result, they frequently experience the loss of friendships, fellowship, and even family relationships. This sudden isolation leads to painful and sincere questions. Have I made a mistake? Is this the right path? Why do I feel so alone?
Our ministry exists to help answer those questions biblically.
What many do not yet realize is that this season of loss and confusion is not foreign to Scripture. It mirrors the experience of Jacob, who did not receive the name Israel until he was alone, wrestling with God. Before becoming Israel, Jacob was stripped of familiarity, certainty, and self-reliance. That moment of wrestling marked a turning point. It was not comfortable. It left him wounded. Yet it was necessary.
In the same way, those who are awakening to the authority of the whole of Scripture often enter a period of solitude and internal conflict. Long-held assumptions are challenged. Traditions once accepted without question are weighed against the written word. This tension is not something to be feared or resisted. It is a refining process. It is a time of purification in which convictions are forged, not borrowed.
Finding The Ancient Path exists to walk alongside those in this season. Our goal is not to rush people through the struggle, nor to replace one set of traditions with another. Our aim is to help believers remain anchored in Scripture while they wrestle honestly with God, allowing Him to establish lasting and biblically grounded convictions.
If this path feels lonely, Scripture assures us that you are not abandoned. If it feels costly, Scripture reminds us that transformation often is. And if it leaves a mark, as it did with Jacob, that mark becomes a testimony of having encountered God rather than merely inheriting the faith of others.
This is who we are. We exist to help people find the ancient path, not as observers, but as those who are being shaped by it.
Our goal at Finding the Ancient Path is to simply walk as Yashua taught. We accept the Bible as God’s Word as completely infallible and inspired: The people, places, events and miracles described in it were completely real and historical.
